Cable Set Top Box Guide

I was a member of the UX team that designed the user experience for Cablevision's new guide on their set top boxes. The process of designing the guide began with composing key user personas based on focus group research. From the personas, a set of user goals was written. Storyboarded use cases were then designed out of the user goals.
I was responsible for designing the user experience for interacting with the guide information accessed in the lower third of the screen while watching TV. The storyboard for that use case and the final design for the lower third are shown here.
